  • Be a passionate follower of Christ whose faith is evident in his life. If married, his wife must share that walk with Christ.

  • Be committed to God’s calling, to ministry to young people and families, and to continual spiritual growth through prayer, Scripture, worship, and service

  • Welcome accountability, mentoring, and correction

  • Desire the salvation of the lost and share the gospel in and beyond formal ministry

  • Be governed by Scripture rather than cultural, ideological, or political identities, and keep a Christlike public witness, including on social media

  • Demonstrate maturity, humility, a servant’s heart, a cooperative spirit, and a willingness to submit to church leadership

  • Have a shepherd’s heart toward children, youth, parents, and volunteers

  • Meet the qualifications for ministers in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9

  • Grow in life and ministry under the authority of the Holy Spirit and the Word, accountable to the Senior Pastor and Trustees

  • Affirm and uphold TCC’s Statement of Faith (troychapel.org/our-faith)

  • Embrace TCC’s identity as an interdenominational fellowship, united in Christ and avoiding sectarian or denominational partisanship
