The North Manchester Congregational Christian Church

is searching for an energetic person to join our seasoned team as Pastor of Family Ministries.  Our multigenerational faith family welcomes everyone to experience the love of God, grow in faith and serve together with the compassion and grace of Jesus through the guidance of the Spirit!


The Pastor of Family Ministries is the advocate for the generations of the church and will work with the lead pastor and other ministry teams to ensure that the family of God is working together to make disciples of the next generation. The pastor will work with the lead pastor and other ministry teams to ensure that there are opportunities for all generations to worship, learn and serve together.


Personal Requirements

  • Must be in agreement with the 8 Core Principles of the North Manchester Congregational Christian Church
  • A strong Christian faith that is nurtured by prayer, Bible study, and self-discipline
  • Set an example of character in accordance with the qualifications of an elder in
  • 1Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
  • Exhibit the fruits of the Spirit
  • Enjoys seeing others succeed and grow
  • 4 year undergraduate degree and or combination of education and work experience preferred
  • Ability to work positively and energetically as a team member
  • Verifiable references and background check
  • Experience raising a family preferred
  • Willing to seek and participate in personal training and growth opportunities
  • High comfort level with technology



  • Through Biblical study and encouragement, develop and oversee family discipleship.
  • Develop intergenerational activities to help ministry leaders bridge the gap between ages
  • Maintain social media accounts, the church website, and newsletter
  • Help lead pastor recruit, train and support volunteers to work in all aspects of ministry
  • Reach out to and work with local community groups and schools
  • Attend appropriate workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Plan regular outreach events
  • Inspire new initiatives
  • Support the vision of the Lead  Pastor
