Job Description:

The primary duties of this person will be sales focused utilizing the Digital assets of Salem Media Group in San Francisco.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Audit client digital presence and identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop plans to improve and strengthen client marketing efforts (Website, Google, Live Chat, Targeted Emails, SEO, SEM, Social Media, etc)
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and then create compelling presentations to sell client solutions based on audit and analysis. 
  • Adjust client campaigns to address changing markets and competitive conditions. 
  • Research and campaign effectiveness; tracks findings and reports results to management. 
  • Attend monthly corporate online meetings or conference calls focusing on digital sales opportunities and success stories.  Share your successes with other Salem markets. 
  • Attend weekly sales meetings at office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise in reputation management.
  • Social media marketing and management for small and medium businesses.
  • Knowledge of how to buy digital ads for local businesses.
  • Knowledge of SEO.
  • Demonstrated history of campaign success using digital as a primary vehicle.
  • Digital media sales required. 
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in digital account management.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role, e.g., selling, implementing, managing and reporting on accounts.

EDUCATION:

  • 4-year college degree, preferably in Communications, Advertising or Marketing.
