Job Description:

As a New Products Program Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and or supporting the marketing activities for your products. Key products are B2B in nature and will require a deep understanding of the Church products space. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products in partnership with communications team. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand while working with our channel marketing team.  You will bring an attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.  In your role as a  New Products Program Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales and marketing channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market- work with the channel marketing and promotions team to ensure message matrix for launch/ongoing promotions are in place.

  • Develop go to market strategies and manage the lead funnel, tracking conversions, churn and win back issues. You will need to manage the work to define the message matrix, testing and persona definition for each sector.

  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and support the development of sales tools that support the selling process of your products.

  • Partner with user education and customer success to ensure product features and highlights are understood by new and current customers.

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans for each program LOB.

  • Work closely with product development team to determine the most profitable course for each existing and new product.

  • Partner with the channel marketing team to generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches.

  • Focus on implementing programs that consistently generate new, high quality leads for our customers. Manage communications and engagement strategies for programs inclusive of group management, forum messages and outbound customer connections.

  • Support product launch work –coordinate with development and product teams the releases.

  • Monitor customer retention trends, churn issues and on boarding pathways.

  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition. Requires competency in marketing strategy, analytics, identifying trends & insights from customer & competitive research

  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and oversee or partner on the programs that drive demand for our products.


  • 5+ years of software product/marketing experience

  • 3-5 years’ lead gen, funnel management for B2B client products

  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing

  • Very strong written communication skills

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • Proven history of creating effective marketing programs

  • Excellent time management and project prioritization skills.
