Miracle Connect is a non-profit Arabic media ministry compassionately communicating the story of Christ to Arabic-speaking people in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The organization aims to nurture those who respond through discipleship, leadership training and connection to other local believers and thereby multiply and support Christ-centered communities. 


Miracle Connect broadcasts programs into MENA via satellite television and social media reaching 350 million individuals in 22 Arab nations. Miracle Connect serves the Arab nations of Western Sahara, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates.


The position of Director of Development will be predominantly focused on growing Miracle Connect revenues from donors and from other sources, while stationed in the United States. The successful candidate, in essence, will be marked by a proven history of experience in sales/business/marketing development, and an altruistic motivation to successfully execute all goals and expectations of the role.


A successful candidate should firstly be a champion of the message of Christ and secondly possess the competency to effectively increase the donor network for the cause of the ministry. They will possess an independent, result-oriented work ethic that comfortably adapts to change, and complements the growth within the organization. The ideal candidate will be made of a unique anomaly, with a strong capability to efficiently manage both process-oriented responsibilities (administrative management, establishing systems) and people-oriented development (making presentations, building relationships). Other core skills, attributes, competencies, and experience will include the following:


  • Be enthusiastic about the purpose and goals of Miracle Connect and able to commit to the vision, mission, and core values. Possess a proven track record in sales, marketing or business development roles, 3-5 years at minimum.
  • An engaging ‘story teller’ who authentically influences people to buy-in to the cause.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate working in a multi-cultural, and multi-denominational environment.
  • Experience in Media Sales, and knowledge of the MENA region will be an advantage.
  • A proven personal/professional/business network will be a core requirement.
  • Good English language skills essential.
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to effectively navigate through social media.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.


The key tasks of the role include:


  • Develop new revenue sources and fund raising strategies in the USA. Meet the annual revenue targets agreed with the Miracle Connect Board of Directors.
  • Develop a network of contacts in the USA who are interested in supporting Miracle Connect in prayer, staffing and financing.
  • Manage relationships with existing Miracle Connect partners. Build and maintain a database of contacts and our interactions with them.
  • Meet with Christian organizations, churches, high net worth individuals, trusts & foundations, businesses, to promote an understanding of Miracle Connect and its objectives. Represent Miracle Connect at relevant conferences, exhibitions, and other speaking engagements.
