Job Description:

Position Summary: The Executive Director (ED) has the full responsibility for the Alternatives Pregnancy Center (APC), which includes the implementation of policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors within the parameters of the APC budget.  The ED creates projected budgets, executing a strategic direction, and planning for growth    The ED is the "face of APC" and is the organization's spokesperson- they are the representative in the community and to our partners.   The ED will be heavily involved in Advancement, Public Relations, donor acquisition, and in general promotion of APC's community profile.

Salary range: 40K-60K.  No benefits.


Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, experience in the pro-life movement, and be active member of their church.



We are seeking someone who is passionate about reaching the vulnerable in the greater Sacramento area and furthering the ministry of life.  We desire an Executive Director who seeks to further the gospel and share the love of Christ with the community through the services and resources APC offers. Organization, strong communication skills, a heart full of mercy and the ability to lead through example is a must. 


Alternatives Pregnancy Center  a non-profit, State of California licensed medical clinic and pregnancy resource center.  Since 1983, APC has been dedicated to meeting the needs of women and children by holding true to the life-affirming core values and purposes the organization was founded upon including meeting the emergency needs of women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy and empowering them to build a positive future for both themselves and their child(ren).
