Database Administrator: Well-established Faith-Based Christian Services Nonprofit is seeking a DBA proficient in Lotus Approach, MS Access, SQL, & MS Excel. Hands-on experience/expertise with customized and other third-party donor databases such as DonorPerfect, Blackbaud, and Sage strongly preferred.
All database administration (donor, volunteer, vendors, client/disciples, service contracts) including data entry/standards, data integrity, coding structure and implementation. Other key responsibilities include production and segmentation of direct mail and publications files, lists and reports generated from the donor system, and for processing of data to/from third-party fundraising, social media partners & the website to Lotus Approach. A minimum of 5 years successful experience working with donor or related software and in a Development/IT dept. that included a comprehensive development-fundraising program.
Proficient working knowledge of data management, queries, exports, imports and reporting, as well as direct mail, acquisition mail and segmentation. Position requires experience developing and implementing processes, standards and procedures related to data management. Candidates with experience in the design, development, implementation and training associated with installation of new donor systems, including planned giving, are strongly preferred. - Bachelor’s Degree.
-Strong computer skills a must; knowledge of Lotus Approach, MS Access, Excel, VB, macros very important. Familiarity with other donor databases is strongly preferred.
