Job Description:
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has an exciting new opportunity! Our Chicago Headquarters is seeking a dynamic individual to develop and lead our educational programs and initiatives that will increase support of our humanitarian and bridge building mission. These programs and initiatives will assist in developing Christian and Jewish understanding, cooperation, and fellowship. The individual in this role will also manage a professional staff and programs in academics, publishing, broadcasting, and church education in order to advance knowledge of the Jewish roots of Christianity, the interdependence of the two faith groups in an increasingly hostile environment, and the dissemination of biblical teaching and inspiration.

Key functions of this role will include:

- Developing and providing oversight to academic programs and resources, and serving as administrative officer of The Fellowship Institute for Christian and Jewish Understanding focusing on partnerships, curriculum, and faculty.
- Directing the development, writing, production, and publication of print, audio, video, and broadcasting products, and the marketing and distribution of these resources.
- Directing the establishment and national roll-out of public education initiatives in the institutional Christian church, and among Christian opinion leaders and lay leaders within the churches.
- Managing the educational department, including the professional staff in academics, publishing, and church education; creating and managing annual budgets; developing and maintaining quarterly and annual plans, and reporting on progress.

Ideal candidates will possess:

- Masters’ degree in ministry, theology, church history, education, or related field. Doctoral in ministry, theology, church history, education, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in educational, think tank, or non-profit management and/or communications. Involvement in interfaith relations or positions at the nexus of Christian and Jewish relations preferred.
- Knowledge of academic administration, curriculum development, writing and communications, broadcasting, and communication within the Christian church.
- Executive management, writing skills, ability to operate in academic environment.
