Director of Development

Job Description:
The primary function of the Director of Development is to raise funds to support a well-known youth/drug treatment in its ministry to the local centers around the country. The Director of Development will be responsible to, in consultation with the organizations President, provide a national strategy for fund raising that will seek to increase the support of current donors and to add individual, corporate, and foundation donors. The Director of Development will seek to increase giving through a variety of ways with a special emphasis on developing personal relationships with as many donors as is practical with the goal of producing major gifts and estate gifts. Experience with a national ministry organization is a plus.
