Job Description:
Boone, NC -Do you have a proven track record of researching market activity and targeting various media to address the needs of that market? We are seeking a committed individual to be a vital part of the development team of Donor Ministries (DM) to minister to the information and involvement desires of high-capacity donors. The manager will proactively lead in developing, implementing, and evaluating personalized communication strategies through which relationships with major donors are won, kept strong, and lifted to mutually beneficial partnership. This includes continual monitoring, thoughtful analysis, and accurate reporting of major donors’ interaction with the ministry. Critical to success will be close working relationships within DM and interdepartmentally, using communications tools and methods to reinforce the organization’s messages, and generating additional funding for Samaritan’s Purse (SP) ministries worldwide.

The Manager also will have primary responsibility for a specific portfolio of major donors as assigned. This will involve using creative, efficient, personalized communication methods in a strategy that engages donors with opportunities for significant and meaningful partnership.

The position reports to the Director of Development for SP Programs, located in Boone, NC.

Required: A personal devotion to Jesus Christ and a passion for global evangelism and discipleship. Marketing/communications background with at least 3 years’ experience. Bachelor's degree; at least 12 credit hours of college level biblical studies preferred. Experience with a wide variety of fundraising concepts.
