Production Assistant / Board Operator
Salem Media of Hawaii is seeking a Production Assistant/Board Operator for its 7-station cluster. Responsibilities for this position include assisting the Production Director for set hours each day with recording, producing and dubbing commercials and station promos. Candidates should have experience with operating broadcast and production equipment, familiarity with computers and digital editing software, good reading, writing and announcing skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions. This position also requires running the broadcast board and call-screening for various live talk shows. Demonstrating the ability to take direction and work with show hosts, and handling multiple tasks quickly and efficiently is a must. The applicant will also assist the Operations Manager with required quarterly reports for the Public File and as otherwise needed.
