Job Description:
We are a cool, fun, somewhat small church in St. Louis Park with a need for some help! This position will be approximately 10-15 hours per week, and will provide administrative support to pastor, board, ministry leaders, and congregation as needed. Duties include, but certainly aren’t limited to:
• Manage bulletin “process”, including:
o Create, print, and assemble bulletins each week
o Retrieve recycled bulletins from basket near sanctuary
o Remove offering envelopes, info cards and needs cards to reuse next week
o Place remaining paper in recycling bin
o Create & schedule weekly news email
• Upload previous week’s sermon to ERC website
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Answer church voicemail and email appropriate people with messages
• Update serving spreadsheets and send email to serving team
• Maintain church calendar and mailing list
o Collect visitor info cards
o Update Constant Contact with new email addresses
o Update CCB with new calendar items and contact info
• Run various errands for church
o Pick up bank bag from Citizens Independent Bank in Hopkins
o Order and/or pick-up office/cleaning/coffee/misc supplies from various vendors as needed
• Manage accounts payable process as needed
o Prepare accounts payable summary
o Deposit funds at bank
o Fill out deposit slip for any funds that come directly from the office
• Respond to requests for scheduling/building use.
Preferred qualifications:
• Prior administrative experience
• Familiarity with Office Suite products
• While not a requirement, a relationship with Christ is really helpful!
