The e3 Foundation is seeking a Marketing Director with a demonstrated ability to ensure the successful execution of e3’s mission through the use of integrated inbound and outbound marketing techniques. The position is based in Austin, Texas.

The e3 Foundation is a non-profit Christian foundation committed to leveraging technology, media and written content to share the gospel in relevant ways and advance God’s Kingdom around the globe. We believe that faith and intellect are inseparable. Our desire is to engage cultures through both the heart and mind with authentic and compelling content.

This individual will play a vital role in developing marketing plans that are vital to the execution of the vision. This individual will also be responsible for protecting our tone in all marketing content related to Exploring God. Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop a strategic marketing plan to achieve Exploring God’s and e3’s goals by identifying and prioritizing marketing initiatives and establishing priorities, budgets, and timetables
• Organize and execute complex, online and offline marketing initiatives, revising project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Oversee and/or administer all marketing initiatives, including:
o Display Ad Campaigns
o Social Media
o Viral Campaigns
o Networking Initiatives
o Public Relations
o Events
o Billboards
o Print Advertising
o Media Placement
o Video Promotions
o Email Marketing
o Event-Triggered Marketing (e.g. Automated Emails)
• Manage brand identity, voice, and consistency in collaboration with the Management Team
• Participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately, and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of marketing technology, analytics, ad placement, and media buy
• Monitor and track ROI on all initiatives, and regularly evaluate tactical effectiveness (Because of the nature of this initiative, ROI will not be derived monetarily)
• Enforce project standards, and review all deliverables prepared by team
• Measure and document progress using e3’s standard reporting protocols, reporting regularly to CEO and COO
• Manage project budgets
• Effectively facilitate team meetings
• Oversee graphic designers, developers, and copywriters
• Communicate relevant project information to related parties
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging tactics and technologies and their potential applications
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions
• Inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 5 or more years experience managing complex online and offline marketing campaigns
• Savvy with social media networking, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and other web-based marketing initiatives
• Demonstrated hands-on success in SEO and PPC a plus
• Ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong work ethic, highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Excellent planning and administrative skills
• Proven ability to be resourceful, flexible, and to take initiative
• Innovation and creativity – has an eye for design and can think “outside the box”
• High degree of critical thinking skills, including ability to anticipate risks, set and achieve goals, and a creative approach to problem solving
• Able to manage projects and willing to work in “hands-on” execution on a tactical level as well
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field is required
