Salem Communications is the leading U. S. radio broadcaster targeting audiences interested in conservative NewsTalk and Christian and family-themed programming. We currently have a full time position available for a Business Manager for our radio stations, WORD-FM 101.5 / WPIT-AM 730 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Reporting into the General Manager, the Business Manager will organize and supervise all administrative activities. The Office Manager must have the ability to interact with all levels of staff. They must be able to see the bigger picture and prioritize tasks as they arise. Someone with a keen eye for detail will flourish in this role.

The ideal Business Manager is a dedicated, hardworking team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person must maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of honesty, trustworthiness, integrity and cultural awareness. They should be friendly, approachable and able to manage others.

Oversee office staff of 3-4
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Assist GM with monthly financial reconciliation
Monthly commissions
Participate in interviewing process
Assist managers with any HR related matters
Prepare all new hire paperwork accurately and conduct new hire orientations
Process all termination paperwork in a timely manner
Maintain all personnel files
EEO compliance (will train)
Payroll; Time Card approval, bi-weekly
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Must have 5 years combined experience in Office Management, HR & AP/AR.
Prior HIPAA training, payroll and interviewing experience helpful.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word,Excel and Outlook)
Detail-oriented with the discipline and capacity to follow-through on projects.
High School Diploma or equivalent a must. BA or BS desired.
A positive, can-do attitude.
