Software Systems Developer - IT
Position: Software Systems Developer
FLSA Status: Exempt
Prepared By: Vice President of Technology

Reports to: Vice President of Technology
Summary of Expected Outcomes:
Maximize the effective use of our association systems by exposing key data and metrics through reporting and analytics, enhancing features through customization and integration, and providing strong technical support to staff and member users.

• The gift of discernment when responding to employees and their requests
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and support end-user reporting and analytics
2. Develop customizations, integrations, and workflows for multiple association applications
3. Support end-users as the primary technical expert on association systems
Qualifications:
• 3 to 5+ years development experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Visual Studio 2008/2010
• C# or ASP.NET or VB.NET web development experience
• Excellent working knowledge of object-oriented development, SQL, XML and web services
• Knowledge of CSS/HTML and differences in the various browser platforms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with CRM, financial, eCommerce applications or Association Management software solutions (Avectra netFORUM preferred) is desired
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers, and talk or hear.
• The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read at close range.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
Measurability:
Progress made on personal and professional mutually agreed upon goals submitted annually.
Accountability:
The Software Systems Developer shall be:
• In agreement with the job description
• In agreement with the policies and ethical guidelines of ACSI
• Responsible to Vice President of Technology
Salary and Benefits:
Salary and benefits are established within the guidelines of ACSI policies.
