Job Description:
Group Publishing has an opening for a part-time Sales and Customer Support Representative in the Customer Care Center. The shift time is from 1:00pm-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Applicants should have at least 1 – 2 years experience in sales and customer service, preferably in a telephone contact environment. A candidate should also have experience in making outbound calls. Excellent oral skills, knowledge of sales techniques and the willingness to learn new sales systems is required. The ability to relate to customers and co-workers in a friendly, relational manner and the knowledge of professional telephone etiquette are imperative. The ability to learn ever-changing marketing promotions and new products is necessary. Good attendance and punctuality is essential. Ideal candidates should have proficient knowledge of Windows Outlook and Windows Office, and experience with Oracle customer relation management software is highly desirable. Job responsibilities include: taking orders from churches, individuals, and retail customers; answering customer inquiries and resolving issues; staying current on all of Group’s products and services; navigating the internet and helping customers with Group’s electronic and web-based products; meeting sales goals, call standards, and quality assurance standards. Applicants should be able to sit at a computer station, use repetitive motion on a keyboard, and wear a telephone headset for up to eight hours a day. Live chat experience is a plus.
