Located in Nashville, Tennessee, this position develops and maintains Salem Publishing's websites utilizing ASP.Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and front-end web technologies, providing leadership for the development team, and supporting various 3rd party systems.
Highly Proficient in:
• SQL Server & TSQL
• Developing using Visual Studio 2010
• IIS Website Configuration
• Source Control (Subversion)
• 3+ years of web development experience
• Project Management or Team Lead experience
• Ability to help management prioritize project requests and determine project schedule
The selected candidate will be leading a small development group which handles both new development and maintenance of existing sites. Candidate must be able to help prioritize project requests, manage projects from start to finish which includes gathering requirements, helping lead design process, create process for completion of project, and deploy final implementation. Candidate must be able to multi-task in order to meet both long term goals and needs but still meet day to day needs as well. Good candidates would also show initiative and be able to contribute ideas and thoughts regarding new initiatives that will help the business thrive and grow.
