Job Description:

WMCA 570 & AM 970 The Apple has an immediate opening for a full time Traffic Continuity Coordinator / Sales Assistant. The Traffic Continuity Coordinator / Sales Assistant reports to the Business Manager and Director of Sales and is responsible for organizing and coordination sales and audio orders for both air and Internet for a two radio station cluster in the New York market along with helping the sales staff.

Responsibilities:
Assist Traffic Manager to ensure audio is ready and orders are submitted properly
Perform network spot entry into Marketron’s Deltaflex (formerly CBSI and formerly Wicks) software
Submit audio and enter orders to the for Internet advertisement replacement
Assist account executives when needed for logistical help with sales campaigns
Submit information, rates, and media kits to rep firm information web site
Coordinate availabilities and track sales for Internet advertisements providing reports when needed
Answering phones – connecting calls with appropriate personnel and taking messages
Filing of sales orders when needed
Perform basic graphic design work and creation of banners
Perform key roles in event execution and event details
Work with Traffic and Business managers for end of month reports and invoice mailing
Perform other related duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience as an administrative assistant in an office environment.
Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Available to work Monday through Friday
Must have a High School Diploma

Experience with Marketron’s Deltaflex software (formerly CBSI) preferred. Experience with audio editing software and graphic design software a plus.
