Job Description:
Part-time Bookkeeper. Apply only if you live within 100-mile radius from San Francisco. Rate depends on experience and qualifications.

Location requirements: 4 times a month meeting at the office in San Francisco downtown and meeting with Jr. Bookkeeper in Berkeley as required. Mostly work at home.

Software skill requirements: QuickBooks Pro, MS Excel and MS Word, MS Office

Job requirements: At least 3-year experience of full-charge bookkeeping is required.

Bookkeeping: Check register data entries, expenses and income entries, Adjusted Journal Entries, and Bank Reconciliation, inter-company Due to/Due from entries. Review of these entries done by a Jr. Bookkeeper. Recording and managing A/P and A/R records, General Ledger, Inventory, and others upon client's request. Creation and on-line delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and A/R Aging reports. Issuance of W-2s. Management of Fixed Asset Schedule (depreciation schedule), and Bank loan/Employee loan records. Sales and sales tax calculations and entries, and other tasks as required by clients.

Back Office: In addition to the above tasks, print checks on behalf of the clients and deliver them via USPS. Payroll processing when the primary payroll contractor is not available.
