This exciting Nashville-based position manages the customer acquisition efforts for Salem Publishing’s print, digital and online properties. It includes management of all aspects of subscription revenue and audience development including print circulation, web traffic, and e-newsletter sign-ups affecting Preaching Magazine, Youthworker Journal, CCM Magazine, Todays Christian Music.com, Homecoming Magazine, Singing News, Family Fiction and Christian College Link.com.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Circulation Marketing – Manage all paid subscription acquisition efforts for Homecoming Magazine, Preaching, YouthWorker Journal, and work with the Singing News Publisher to assist in subscription acquisition efforts related to Singing News. Web Audience – Manage all non-editorial strategies aimed at growing web traffic for all web sites. Cross Promotions – Utilizing Salem Publishing properties and the radio station and radio network properties of sister company Salem Music Network, manage and implement cross platform promotions of each entity’s products. Web Strategy – Lead web development strategies to maximize web resources and traffic including new internet asset initiatives. Development Priorities – Work with the Associate Publisher and Lead Developer to evaluate projects and determine priorities. Web Content – Work with the Associate Publisher to develop and implement editorial strategies aimed at growing web traffic. Editorial Training – Assist editors in developing needed web skills, including SEO skills, tagging, social media skills, content planning, and other relevant skills. eBook Publishing – Work with the Production Director and Associate Publisher to develop and implement eBook publishing strategies aimed at growing revenue and audience. Annual Budgeting – Work with Associate Publisher and Fulfillment Director to develop annual subscription revenue and marketing expense budgets. Project Management and Promotion – Assist as needed with temporary projects that require web promotion, development and implementation skills.
