RREACH is an extension of the gifts and calling of Dr. Ramesh Richard and was founded to carry out his passion for worldwide proclamation of the Lord Jesus Christ. The ministry envisions changing the way One Billion Individuals think and hear about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dr. Richard carries a strategic burden to strengthen pastoral leaders, evangelize opinion leaders, and reach large numbers of individuals, especially of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. By reaching the leaders of the Church (via training) and Society (via evangelism), a multiplicative effect occurs so that the trained or evangelized will in turn affect the lives of others in their spheres of influence.
The mission of RREACH is accomplished through innovative strategies and ministry programs such as Dr. Richard’s personal proclamation, the Annual Major Media initiative, the annual Global Proclamation Academy (GPA), international Pastors Conferences, evangelistic events and the creation and distribution of training products. Other ministry initiatives under consideration are radio and outreach to immigrants in the U.S. In June 2010, RREACH launched the Global Proclamation Commission, built on the GPA model, and will be ongoing during the 2010-2020 decade.
RREACH is a highly efficient and cost effective ministry. It is made up of a small staff that is committed to the mission and vision of the organization as well as the ministry calling of Dr. Richard. Staff strives to maintain a high degree of ministry accomplishment, excellence in operations and adherence to principles of proper financial stewardship.
The Assistant to the President is responsible for the maximization of the efficiencies of the President for the Lord Jesus Christ. The person must be called to this role and in carrying out the President’s vision and mission in worldwide proclamation ministry and organizational programs.
The Assistant to the President has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and maintains a Christ-like attitude in dealing with people both within and outside of the organization; maintains a close and consistent walk with the Lord-in practice, serving, in leading Biblical principles of service and be a person of fervent prayer; creates an environment where servant-hood permeates the working relationship; must have experience working for a visionary President, be poised, polished and possesses a professional attitude in appearance, in writing and on the phone.
Loyalty and commitment to the President and the ministry goals of the organization are required. The Assistant must always have the President’s best interest in mind and in implementation. The Assistant will need to organize, anticipate, initiate, plan, administer, and supervise the functions of the Office of the President. The level of complexity can be high will require someone who is flexible, can multi- task, and has the ability to adjust plans, even at the last minute. Additional required attributes include excellent oral and written skills, creative in nature, problem solving, macro- thinking, and very detailed oriented. The Assistant must be self-motivated and able to perform without much supervision. The Assistant should be diplomatic in communication. Any dealing and interaction with ministry friends should be above reproach, transparent, honest and full of integrity. The Assistant must be able to handle confidential and personal information without disclosure and must have the President’s complete confidence. Cross-cultural sensitivity is required given the nature of the ministry. Must be able to set correct priorities and follow through without the need for accountability. The Assistant must be willing to serve without public recognition or constant access to the President.
The Assistant to the President will set up all travel needs, assist with administrative needs, interface with ministry friends, assist with ministry objectives, and coordinate with other departments as needed. The Assistant will also relate to friends and guests of the organization on behalf of the President, ensuring they are well cared for on behalf of the ministry and the President.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required and must have excellent typing skills.
Responsible for effectively managing the President’s schedule and calendar, which includes appointments, lunches, meetings and coordinating extensive domestic and international travel arrangements. Keep detailed records of the activities of the President and the impact of those activities. Constant use of telephone, e-mail and texting is expected. Interfacing and responding to board members, donors, and senior executives. Drafting high level correspondence and presentations of the highest quality is required. The Assistant will oversee and handle the President’s mail. Typing and editing of correspondence is required as well as assisting with articles and other documents. Coordinate special projects and other administrative tasks as needed. Work closely with the entire organization/staff on behalf of the President.
Availability before and after normal office hours as well as on weekends is expected.
