Wheaton College(IL) is accepting applications from candidates for the position of Computer Support Specialist- Science Division. Reporting to the IT Customer Service Manager, the Support Specialist is responsible for providing support for designated computing resources in the Science Division. They will perform day-to-day system administration to the science servers. Assist faculty in evaluating software or hardware and assisting with the install and set up of approved software.
A successful candidate will be proficient with client-server computing and networking, Linux and Windows Imaging experience. They will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Should have one year of experience working in an academic computing lab.
