Job Description:
Position Summary: The Vice President of Administration and Finance (VP/AF) provides leadership and oversight for the organization’s administrative functions, including Finance, IT and Building and Grounds.

Position Responsibilities:
• Administrative Leadership: Responsible for providing oversight and leadership for the administrative functions of the organization, including accounting, financial management, information technology, building and properties management
• Personnel Development: Responsible for the hiring and development of his/her direct reports
• Team Membership: Serves as a member of the WorldVenture Leadership Community
• Team Development: Responsible for the development of his/her leadership team
• Departmental Strategic Planning: Responsible for ensuring the completion of the ongoing strategic planning process for the administrative functions
• Organizational Strategic Planning: Participates with the President and other senior officers in organizational planning, policy development, and problem resolution
• Financial Oversight: Responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by closely monitoring and analyzing financial performance throughout the year, including revenue and expenditure trends; makes recommendations for cost-effective operations as well as coaching opportunities within the organization relating to financial management
• Financial Reporting: Responsible for providing information to the President for the Board of Directors, ensuring that financial reporting meets the needs of the Board and the President; attends Board meetings as requested
• Budget Development and Oversight: Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the annual budgeting process at the direction of the President and the Executive Leadership Team
• Audit Oversight: Responsible for the coordination and preparation of the annual audit
• Risk Management: Responsible for ensuring that corporate liability and risk are adequately insured and managed
• Policy Development: Oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures deemed necessary to promote effectiveness, efficiency and integrity in the administrative areas
• Investment Advisory Group: Serves as a member of the WorldVenture Investment Advisory Group

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Significant non-profit experience in a ministry context required
• Ten years minimum experience in financial leadership and administration required
• Ten years minimum experience in staff management preferred
• Computer literate, able to understand and use MS Office applications
• Motivator/team builder, able to lead, inspire, and manage people
• Ability to thrive amid ambiguity and change
• Strong people skills and relational capacity
• Ability to help WorldVenture think creatively about future funding models

Personal Qualifications:
• Deep commitment to a personal relationship with God and a desire to serve Him in a worldwide ministry
• Enthusiastic personal interest in and dedication to WorldVenture’s vital and significant ministry
• Christian character that reflects and embodies the Christian values, beliefs and principles foundational to WorldVenture, and a willingness to subscribe to the eight-point doctrinal statement
• Service-oriented attitude of assisting and serving others
• A team player that displays humility and a learner’s attitude

Education or Formal Training:
• Graduate degree or equivalent work experience in Business Management
• CPA or MBA preferred

Work Environment/Physical Activities: Must be present and work at the Littleton, CO office of WorldVenture. This is not a position that allows for telecommuting.
