The Community Relations & Development Director plans, develops, implements, administers, evaluates and monitors (through a Development Dashboard) an aggressive Community Relations and Development Program, targeting El Paso County; Raises Visibility, Volunteers and Monies to enable the ministry of The Salvation Army; develops and secures gifts to reach/surpass fund-raising goals established annually through the gifts generated from individuals, corporations and foundations; establishes and maintains effective communication with current, previous and prospective donors; communicates directly and independently with local officers, their councils and committees to develop local Marketable Service Outlines; ensures program compliance with the designated budget and the Area Coordinator; works directly with the Divisional Development Director and the Divisional Development staff for training, mentoring and accountability.
