International Christian Concern (ICC) seeks applicants and nominations for the position of Director of
Development. The Director of Development works to strengthen, develop, and execute fund development
programs to provide all financial support for ICC, reporting directly to the President of ICC and responsible
for the following primary functions:
• Oversee and conduct all fundraising, cultivation, communications and solicitation activities of ICC.
• Identify and develop relationships with individuals, major gift donors, foundations, corporations,
and churches, enhancing success in soliciting financial support for ICC ministries and initiatives.
• Communicate the organization’s mission in a manner that will both broaden and deepen the
relationships with the many people who have and will become personally involved in ICC.
• Work closely with the Board of Directors, volunteers, ICC partners, and staff to execute a
coordinated, focused effort, fully utilizing all resources available for Development activity.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits, based in the Washington, DC area. The
work will require extensive travel.

• The Director of Development will be a spiritually mature professional whose talents and ability are
in evidence through success in previous roles. This individual will be highly talented and motivated
while possessing the knowledge, skills and discernment required to be successful in this role
• A mature and growing Christian with an exemplar personal testimony, a demonstrated relationship
with Jesus Christ, and adherence to the Nicene Creed and the Lausanne Covenant.
§? Bachelor’s degree in Philanthropy, Business, or related field and five (5) plus years experience in
development, marketing, or sales roles exhibiting increasing levels of responsibility.
§? Successful track record in raising significant monies ($1 million or more) in a donor/volunteer
environment strongly preferred.
§? Strong leadership ability with excellent communication and organization skills.
§? Self-motivated with high level of energy.
§? Ability to communicate in compelling manner, identifying issues and influencing areas of interest.

International Christian Concern (ICC) exists to relieve the suffering of the worldwide persecuted church and
help it grow in strength and breadth by providing effective assistance, advocacy and awareness with
integrity toward God and our donors. ICC acts as a bridge between believers in free countries and believers
in persecuted countries. This bridge carries encouragement, prayers and aid in while news, requests, and
love flow back over the bridge. The bridge also allows for the voices and concerns of the persecuted to be
heard by the Church so that we might move the rest of the world to action on their behalf. Since 1995, ICC
