Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for answering, directing and taking messages for all incoming calls. This also includes answering listener questions concerning promotional events and contests.
• Distribution of prizes to contest winners.
• Daily deposit
• Assisting the Promotions Director with benchmarks, winner sheets and any additional duties.
• Responsible for all typing of correspondence posting and inter-office memo’s for General Manager. This also includes some occasional overflow typing from Office Manager and sales staff.
• Mailing out all weekly and monthly client invoices and statements.
• Distribution of all incoming mail.
• Inventory of all supplies for department.
• Responsible for keeping all files current, including production orders, sales files and general files.
• Responsible for assisting General Sales Manager with reports, appointments, organization, phone call messages and keeping account list up to date.
• Assist promotion department with special events and printing.
• Knowledge of social networking a plus.
• Responsible to follow Salem Communications policies and procedures.
• Reports directly to the Business Manager
• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines. • Outgoing personality, self-disciplined, able to work with various departments • Strong organizational skills and time management • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
