Boone, NC -We're looking for an experienced human resource professional to collaborate closely with senior management teams from assigned departments/areas as a strategic HR Partner with primary accountability to provide Human Resources strategies, processes and practices that align with and accelerate business objectives. This will be accomplished through strong leadership and development coaching, acting as an advisor to senior leadership, and by aligning services across the Samaritan’s Purse HR system, as well as with external partnerships. Role operates on the principle of servant leadership and maintains a strong customer focus. The HR Partner will:
• Translate current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic plan.
• Create and understand organizational capabilities, develop plans and adapt processes to build/fill gaps in those capabilities.
• Lead management in organizational assessment and design to turn business strategies into action.
• Provide people management data, analysis implications and recommendations.
• Provide coaching to the senior leadership team and their staff.
• Lead, measure and facilitate the improvement of leadership and team effectiveness.
• Articulate business needs and influence the design of HR processes and tools to ensure business objectives are met.
• Select, apply and implement HR services and solutions to fit the business needs.
• Partner with HR to provide seamless delivery of HR services to the division.
• Manage and consult on all employee relations issues within customer area.

Qualified candidates will be results-oriented with a strong customer-service focus; demonstrate an ability to operate at all levels of an organization; and be a strong team player with ability to establish effective working relationships among peers, subordinates and superiors through contributions in team settings, working groups and committees. Strong analytical skills and ability to work on basic processes as well as strategic initiatives are needed. Demonstrate the ability to resolve complex problems impacting people, process and program issues. Excellent communications skills are required, including ability to provide briefing and training to diverse audiences, and ability to effectively influence individuals of varying backgrounds and learning styles. Strong coaching, team facilitation and relationship-building skills and experience are needed. BS/BA in a business related field and a minimum of 8 to 10 years directly related HR generalist experience working on both expatriate and foreign national issues required. MBA or related degree and five or more years of supervisory/management experience desired. SHRM Professional Human Resources Certification or other recognized HR certification preferred.
