Facility Management Technician
Reports to the Director of Facility Management

Position Purpose:

To assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the Lincoln Christian University campus buildings and grounds

Position Requirements:

High School graduate or general education degree

Minimal of three years maintenance related work history

Computer skills are not essential, however basic computer skills are preferred

Ability to operate basic heavy equipment (front-end loader, tractors, snow removal equipment)

No certificates or licenses mandatory, however HVAC certification or ability to obtain is preferred

Have general knowledge of HVAC systems as well as electrical and plumbing

Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds

Position Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance work on plumbing, electrical and HVAC/r systems are required.

Carry out general maintenance work on campus as required.

Handle seven day “on-call” responsibilities on a rotating basis with other maintenance personnel.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $10.75-$12.50/hr. This position carries a benefit package as provided to all LCU support staff. This position is non-exempt.
