Job Description:
Boone, NC - Seeking an experienced IS professional to manage the configuration, administration and support of all Microsoft SharePoint servers.

The SharePoint Administrator performs installations; tests and deploys upgrades and patches; facilitates testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance; manages user permissions; assists end-users in the optimization of SharePoint content for indexing and searching; identifies and develops appropriate lifecycle documentation to support the design, development, and deployment of SharePoint sites; and assists with performance and capacity monitoring.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information systems, and three years of hands-on administration and support experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Database administration and Windows server product experience preferred. Microsoft certification a plus.
