Job Description:
The Sr. CRM Data Mining Analyst position exists to support the development of CRM-based relationship building and target-marketing strategies by using advanced statistical analysis, data mining and predictive modeling techniques. Proven statistical and data mining background/experience is a must for this position.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs advanced statistical analysis, data-mining, and predictive modeling of constituent behavior in the areas of contacting, purchasing, donating and other relevant engagement opportunities with Focus on the Family

Performs advanced ad-hoc CRM analytics requested by marketing and ministry audience owners and departments, including but not limited to CRM donor analysis and trending, CRM cultivation analysis and reporting, - Ministry Prospect, Ministry Recipient, Ministry Partner, Ministry Investor, product analysis, response analysis and other analyses as requested Is responsible for leading the business requirements analysis for CRM multi-dimensional data mart reporting and analysis solutions. Includes programming/developing advanced data mart applications multidimensional software, accessing data from the ministry corporate DW/MDR and other ministry CRM systems including but not limited to Aprimo, Silverpop, Ungerbach etc. Works closely with ministry DW/MDR team to get access to database structures and follow approved software development processes. Works closely with DW/MDR personnel in programming advanced extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) routines using SQL based extraction tools, developing end-user query libraries for CRM ad-hoc analysis purposes. Works closely with MDR/DW personnel to ensure adhering to DW/MDR quality assurance functions, validation testing procedures, end user software training, and end user application assistance; interacts with business clients (internal departments) to ensure CRM reporting models meet marketing and audience owner requirements

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides sampling analysis and list development/databases for marketing research projects -Key liaison between IT, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Capabilities, and the user community -Performs other duties as assigned

Mentors Data Warehouse colleagues with technical guidance, assistance and training

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business; Master’s Degree preferred -Knowledge and experience in conducting advanced statistics and predictive modeling techniques -Experience using statistical software (PASW, SAS, etc.) -Experienced in developing Java applications -Experience working with MS SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services -Advanced Hyperion Essbase experience; or comparable multidimensional platform experience -Knowledge and experience developing web-based applications/services and robust interfaces with the data warehouse -Knowledge of SOA practices and principles -Experience in systems development and implementation, including data warehouse implementations -Experience in gathering business and technical requirements -Experience in project management and using project management software -Proficient in the use of Microsoft Products – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio

Demonstrated competence to design and develop projects independently and to disseminate project design structures and technical information to any level in the ministry -Advanced knowledge and skill in a variety of PC and statistical software -Demonstrated competence in data management and multiple large project design -Knowledge of FOF computer systems and the capability to integrate data into the Data Warehousing framework -Strong analytical and organizational abilities -Expertise to handle multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines and budgets -Maintain a cool and calm demeanor under pressure -Able to represent the IT department in a professional and Christ-like manner in all dealings with our Ministry customer and external partners -Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
