Logistics/Freight Audit Manager

Essential Job Functions:
• Manage cost-effective audit & verification of logistics service charges on pre- and post- payment basis in a highly automated environment
• Represent best practice audit processes and principles to customers, suppliers and employees
• Business Process improvement of the logistics audit function

Required Skills / Abilities:
• Transformational leadership supervisory skills, staff development, teaching and mentoring skills
• Experience with logistics procurement, operations, or finance
• Analytical thinker, detailed, creative and strategic

Desired Skills / Abilities:
• Business Process Automation / 6-Sigma experience in logistics
• Customer Relationship Management experience
• Spanish fluency a plus
• Outsourcing or shared service center experience
• Experience working in a virtual management environment or with cross functional teams

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred

Required Professional Experience:
• 5 years applicable experience in a corporate environment
• Logistics Operations / Transaction Processing background in shift environments with 100 employees
