Position Title: Web Systems Support Manager
Reports to: Biblica Webmaster
Full-time 40 hours per week
Department: Communications

The Web Systems Support Manager is responsible for the implementation of web strategies and initiatives supporting the overall needs of Biblica’s internet presence including Biblica.com and BiblicaDirect.com and all sub-sites.

The primary focus of the Web Systems Support Manager is to support Biblica’s daily operations requirements that directly relate to our internet and e-communication efforts. This position is also responsible for the development and implementation of major web strategies (system upgrades, troubleshooting, site construction, navigation changes, etc.) under the direction of Biblica’s webmaster.

The position requires excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or related experience. The candidate must also have a minimum of 2-3 years Internet development experience working with PHP, ASP.net, HTML and other software packages. The candidate should enjoy seeking out new and challenging methods of digital communication and publishing. Data base experience. Scripting language experience: (PHP, MySQL, ASP, JavaScript, XML, and XHTML). Project Management skills helpful.
