Seeking an experienced manager of volunteers to serve as Operation Christmas Child Regional Manager
for the Southeast Region. In partnership with the Regional Director
, the Manager
will recruit, select, train, and lead year-round volunteers.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in volunteer management, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to motivate and lead volunteer teams in implementing program goals including: recruiting and retaining participation in the program through churches and community groups, facilitating prayer support, building media awareness, and coordinating a regional volunteer-run effort to collect gifts for the neediest children worldwide.
In addition to the year round duties, the Regional Manager will serve for 3-4 weeks from mid-November to mid-December to assist with the Atlanta Processing Center Management Team where shoebox gifts are inspected and prepared for overseas shipment.
