Group Publishing is looking for a dynamic and energetic staff member to join our Technology department.
We are seeking a solutions-driven ERP Systems Analyst. This role plans and performs analysis to guide the subsequent design and implementation or improvement of an ERP system. The person will interface with the IT department and other systems providers to resolve conversion, and/or production issues. Additional responsiblities include requirement analysis, design specifications, formulates/defines scope and objectives and usually participates in most stages of development including analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation. This individual must have proven communication skills, problem-solving skills and knowledge of best practices to guide their development, and deployment of mission-critical systems
•Extensive knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite
•Bachelors Degree in the field of computer science and/or 7-10 years of equivalent work experience
•5-7 years of experience developing ERP Oracle applications
•Knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
•Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms, including the ability to convey technical information and concepts to non-technical individuals.
•Willingness to develop professionally as necessary.
•Willingness to work additional hours as necessary to complete job requirements.

•Provide needs assessment in cooperation with user community, and develop information and data requirements for system designs
•Interfaces with IT department and other systems providers to resolve conversion, and/or production issues.
•Responsible for requirements analysis and design specifications.
•Formulates/defines systems scope and objectives, usually participates in most stages of development including analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation.
•Maintain Oracle application modules and their interface tables to assure continued smooth operation.
•Work with customers to refine business processes to coincide with Oracle Applications standard functionality.
•Oversee the testing process for evaluating and validating patches and upgrades.
•Serve as a contributing member of the Information Technology team.
•Contributes strategic vision and integrates a broad ranges of ideas regarding applications development
•Recognized across organization for application development expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique and complex application development problems
•Complete other special projects as assigned by the department leader.
