Sylvan Way Christian Schools, a ministry of Sylvan Way Baptist Church, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Daycare Director.

The Daycare Director of Sylvan Way Christian Schools is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the daycare program. Current enrollment in this program exceeds 50. Current staffing is 18 full and part time staff. This individual reports to the school Administrator or in the absence of the Administrator to the School Committee.

Desired Qualifications:


• Have knowledge of child development as evidenced by professional references
• Strong relationship building skills
• Have planning, coordinating, and supervisory skills to implement a high quality, developmentally appropriate program
• Exhibit a positive Biblical role model at all times


• 45 or more credits in Early Childhood Education and a current ECE certificate with four or more years of experience.


• Currently a member in good standing of an evangelical church
• Unreserved acceptance of SWCS's Statement of Faith
• A strong, clear Christian testimony
• A mature Godly spirit
• A person of faith and prayer
• A strong knowledge and understanding of Scripture


• A person of integrity in business, personal finances, and human relationships
• A life consistent with biblical principles
• Recognize the ministry of the school as an outreach of the church
