JOB TITLE: Special Events Coordinator (F/T, Non-Exempt)

LOCATION: Pompano Beach, FL

COMPENSATION: $10 - $12 per hour

The Special Events Coordinator provides administrative support within the Community Development Department in the coordination of special events and volunteer activities. The position reports to the Community Development Associate, and assists with answering the telephone, recording and sorting donations/gift-in-kind, writing thank you letters, and maintaining a calendar for the Community Development Associate.

Requires one (1) year experience in special events/volunteer coordination or office administration. 3-5 years experience in a non-profit environment highly preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office applications and be able to multi-task while paying attention to details and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Miami Rescue Mission / Broward Outreach Centers is a Christian non-profit agency serving the homeless and needy of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

You must be able to sign a Statement of Faith in good conscience.
