Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for the right individual. This person will report to the COO and direct all IT activities for a small, friendly and growing sales and marketing company.

Network administrator (Domain environment, Single SBS 2008 w/ Exchange, Windows OS XP, Vista and Windows 7 workstations)

Nortel BCM50 phone system

System administrator for QuickBooks, Time Matters/SQL based CRM software, and NetSuite all in one CRM/ERP/Inventory

• Includes on sight and remote help and trouble shooting with the following:
o OS Help: MS WinXP through Win7, SBS 2003 & 2008 in a Domain environment
o MS Office Product help (Word and Excel mainly, XP through 2007)
o QuickBooks, Time Matters, NetSuite administration and support
o Virus and Malware removal
o Physical site wiring and hardware maintenance for computer and network devices, including individual component parts (replacement)
• Strategizing the streamlining of business workflows
• Planning and implementing core business projects, including hardware purchase/upgrades, hardware maintenance, and software development
• Long term as well as mission critical problem solving
• Initiating, analyzing, and improving work flows and system processes used by the employees to marry the marketing, warehousing, and shipping departments’ varying tasks in a single workable solution in order to maximize more fully the time and efforts of the employees.
• Designing and developing the different forms and templates used to store and manage the data in the NetSuite system.
• Training workers in each department to use the company software and new processes developed
• Continuing the progressive development of the software interface
• Managing the phone system (Nortel BCM50):
o Maintaining workable calling trees
o Setting up language and recording sessions for company greetings used by the calling trees
o Managing the mailbox system for all users
o Setting up analog and IP phones for off site office
• Managing company email addresses and Microsoft Exchange system
