Job Description:

Salem Communications a leading U.S. radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, and magazine and book publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team at headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

A Staff Accountant must be able to prepare monthly financial statements, maintain and update various balance sheet schedules. Analyze financial statements and deal with management on monthly closing processes. Prepare of audit workpapers for quarterly and annual audits. Maintain an update various financial statement schedules, maintain and update property tax schedules.

Qualifications: The perfect candidate must be able to analyze general ledgers, process journal entries, update schedules and interact with managers and coworkers. Must have 3+ years experience in accounting. Experience in Excel, Great Plains, and FRX report writer a plus. Must have EITHER a Bachelor's degree with a emphasis in accounting or CPA.
