Hope House located in Marsing Idaho exists to provide a home for children between the ages of five (5) and eighteen (18) (and then those youth who turn eighteen prior to or during their senior year in High School) who have experienced tremendous loss of their birth family-adoptive family.
Hope House serves children from all areas of the United States although the vast majority, come from the Northwestern United States. Hope House provides a home for these young people who may have "fallen through the cracks" of other governmental and/or private agencies with failed adoptions and no where to call home.
Our mission at Hope House is to provide a home-like, family atmosphere where, through prayer- love-structured activities-appropriate discipline-educational and vocational opportunities young people will reach their fullest potential.
Our goal is to see young people who are able to interact appropriately with their peers and those in authority, provide for their own economic needs, and to be successful in the pursuit of their personal goals and ambitions. Our youth stay with us through graduation and up to fours years afterwards while they learn a trade for financial independence.
The Hope House setting is a dormitory environment (boys and girls separate houes) we do not use a parent model in the homes as the kids have lost to many parents in the past.
