Director of Sales & Markeing

Our client is a faith based orgainzation severing the senior community. We are seeking a committed Christian who can articulate their faith and has a desire to participate in prayer and devotions as a part of their work life.

Responsible for the promotion and sales of the organization to the target audience …elderly people seeking alternative living arrangements and a continuum of care. Manages all advertising, events, media presence and informational collateral sufficient to keep the organization’s name in the mind of the target audience, elicit inquiries into our programs, provide an excellent “first handshake,” and following through to ensure community census goals are met.


Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Competencies
- Brand management: promote the organization’s brand to appropriate constituencies. Create public awareness through media channels, educational programming. Recommend and develop opportunities for social accountability. Ensure the public persona of the organization is consistent with its stated values and unique characteristics as defined by the mission, vision and branding ideals.
- Sales and Sales Management: Sell and manage a team of sales representatives, lead distribution and reporting processes.
- Refining systems: ensure increasingly efficient recruitment of future residents by refining systems and procedures in contact generation, contact management and managing admissions/ sales team goals and follow up processes.
- Follow up- create systems that enable the organization to retain connections with people in various stages of relationship.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies, including advertising, media pieces, events, publicity campaigns, website enhancement, newsletters, industry publications and direct mail.
- Cultivate connections and partnerships outside the community to provide a steady stream of inquiries for our communities and services.
- Long term relationship development establish processes and programs to ensure long term connection to seniors in our care and in the community, collaboration close connections and relationship with the other ministries of the organization to maximize ministry potential to families.
- Consulting on Market trends/values/ pricing/ on Master Plan building and development. Promotes the organization in collaboration with Director of Public Affairs.

- Supervises the “sales” team for CSL, supervises a marketing assistant. Responsible for hiring, evaluating and recommendations for termination.

- Christian Commitment: Committed Christian who exemplifies a lifestyle of service through prior experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or related field, from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education.
- Experience: 5-7+ years experience in Marketing/ Sales/ Advertising Function or related experience.
- Other Considerations:
- Knowledge and sensitivity to issues in aging
- 5 + years leading teams/ developing people
- Mission minded
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Creativity.
- Software and Equipment Used: Microsoft word/ PowerPoint/ Excel/

- Experience: Experience in retirement and continuing care communities
- preferred. Knowledge of regulatory issues in this environment is very helpful
- Software And Equipment Used: Raiser’s Edge, REPS Leads software.
