Esperanza Health Center serves over 6,000 patients in the North Philadelphia community, providing holistic, bilingual and bicultural health care services. Esperanza's health care providers are all highly-qualified and Board-certified, and everyone on the clinical staff speaks both Spanish and English. Esperanza has been recognized on multiple occasions by several local managed care plans for excellence in care.

Medical Services at Esperanza Health Center

Esperanza Health Center serves over 6,000 patients through over 24,000 medical care visits annually, and is recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Esperanza meets patient needs daily by offering comprehensive primary medical services for adults and children.

Esperanza Health Center is Currently looking to fill the Position of Human Resources Manager

Job Summary: Esperanza is presently seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager. In the past 3-4 years, the size of Esperanza's staff has doubled from approximately 45 to 90 employees, and with significant growth expected EHC plans to add an additional 60+ positions in the next 3-4 years. The goal of creating this new position is to strengthen our hiring and human resource structure as our staff grows, centralize personnel responsibilities, and advance the human resources functions. Job functions include the following:

• Oversight of all hiring (recruitment, interviewing, new employee orientation);

• Oversight of employee benefits (medical, dental, life, long-term disability, educational benefits);

• Oversight of employee performance appraisal process;

• Organization of personnel information;

• Oversight of development and compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures;

• Oversight of employee retreats and trainings; and

• Oversight of employee correction and guidance to ensure a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; strong organizational management skills and interpersonal skills; good problem solver; intuitive, independent thinker; expresses self well in writing; experience in conflict resolution; organized; good math ability; experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel; committed Christian accountable in church; able to represent Christ and the gospel in word and deed.
