America World Adoption Association, an evangelical Christian non-profit adoption agency, is seeking a Staff Accountant to work in McLean, Virginia.
Job responsibilities will include:
• Managing invoicing and cash receipts
• Reconciling client accounts
• Serving as point of contact for client account inquiries
• Tracking and reconciling grants and donations
• Issuing tax receipts
• Assisting Director of Finance with monthly close and year-end audit
Applicants must have B.S. in Business/Accounting, with 0-2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
The qualified candidate is a committed believer in Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible and is organized, committed to providing quality customer service via e-mail and on the phone, pays close attention to detail, and has excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains accounting software preferred. Proficiency with Excel required.
