Provides technical leadership and direction to all facets of Compassion’s MDM, enterprise data warehouse and data virtualization infrastructure called the Ministry Information Library (MIL). Aligns MIL design and technologies with architecture and vision from the Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) architect, the Enterprise Architecture Group (EAG), and the IT Technical Director. Accountable for quality, robustness and strategic alignment of MIL products. Responsible to champion continuous improvement of products and processes in the MIL. Acts as a liaison between customer, project and product managers, product teams, integrators and architects with respect to direction, design and implementation. Responsible for the full life cycle of technology implementation in the MIL to ensure successful and most effective use of technology to support business strategic objectives.

Accountable for solutions fulfilling all agreed upon requirements. Contributes to project manager for on-time delivery and kept commitments.
Ensures alignment of each individual solution design with MIL product direction, larger IT architectural direction and MIL vision. Represents MIL at various meetings with architects, the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) group in conjunction with data architect, IT customer groups (CSGs), etc.
Accountable for the quality of products including the QA relationship, testing, validation, and product release time.
Responsible for working with QA and MSB team members to develop, schedule and execute test plans. Responsible to work with team to provide QA with needed documents at agreed upon schedule points. Schedules and ensures thorough validation of solution at various points in development and release process.
Champions and initiates continuous improvement on the MIL by introducing, creating, facilitating team brainstorming of, overseeing, documenting and refining MIL processes.
Accountable for following up with bug fixes, knowing the release schedule of the vendor, and understanding what features are included in each patch and release. Helps product and project managers with scheduling of when to move to the next release. Oversees regression testing when moving to new releases.
Provides technical leadership to collaborate significantly with product and project managers to ensure alignment with the vision and direction of the MIL.
Responsible to have the deepest level of understanding of the overall architecture and technologies used within the MIL, as part of continuous improvement, to be the most knowledgeable person on the team of the industry disciplines in use with the MIL: EDW, MDM, ETL, data virtualization, etc.
