Job Description:

Provides leadership by managing and coordinating successful implementation and maintenance of information technology solutions. Coordinates information technology planning and execution specifically in DBMS hosting services and global foundation collaboration services and contributes to requirement definition, design, development or sourcing, implementation and on-going maintenance. Works with end-user management to affect business change through application of information technology solutions and subcontractors and off-shoring teams to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met and product services meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) objectives. The manager will have direct supervisor responsibility for typically 6 to 12 direct reports, authority/accountability focus on 1-3 workteams and holds authority for 1-2 organizational management roles.

Assesses new technology for applicability within the organization. Establish technical standards. Direct infrastructure implementation efforts to support business requirements in DBMS hosting services and global foundation collaboration services (e.g. email, telephony, Share Point, file and web hosting).
Delivers technology solutions with a customer-centric approach. Demonstrated commitment to leverage established frameworks and processes to drive excellence in execution. Functional understanding of best-practice in customers relationship management, technology management, and current IT delivery process frameworks (e.g. ITIL, CMMI, PMI).
Supports directors in activities that provide encouragement and motivation to the IT staff to ensure strong participation as a team.
Gives feedback on individual performance and areas of improvement for the staff who are assigned to the different IT roles.
Actively contributes to the overall IT team and, consequently of Compassion's ministry, by willingly helping others in their duties when the need arises and offering positive suggestions for improvement in all areas.
Knowledge of applicable laws, standards, and regulations as they relate to technology. Ability to set and manage priorities and risk judiciously.
Assesses IT staff workloads and balances the load as needed.
Leverages various services within the IT effectiveness domains to ensure staff are highly skilled and resourced meet system stability and innovation needs.
