Alliance Redwoods is now taking applications for Canopy Tour Guides!
Become a canopy tour guide in our Northern California Coastal Redwood forest and run Zip-line Canopy tours for groups of people through our brand new Canopy Tour in the coastal redwoods of Northern California. Zip-lines range from 50 ft. to 1000 ft long. Guides should have previous experience with Ropes Courses/adventure sports and be comfortable working at heights.

Minimum Qualifications: Canopy tour guides must be at least 18 years of age before their first day of work. 4 year degree preferred, WFR certification a plus. Prior to guiding guests, you must complete all required paperwork, pass a mandatory background screening and successfully complete the training program. Must ascribe to the Alliance Redwoods statement of faith.

Responsibilities: Our canopy tour guides generally work several trips per day with trips lasting approximately 3 hours each. Guide groups via zip-line, sky-bridge and spiral staircases to several different teaching stations for an interactive learning experience. To ensure the highest level of guest safety and enjoyment, canopy tour guides are expected to be extremely safety conscious and focused on our guests. Helmet and Harness are supplied.

Training is from June 1, 2010 – June 11, 2010
