Job Description:
The Vice President Advancement is intended to oversee all aspects of the ministry related to funds development. In particular, it involves managing the organizational relationship with its US-based Resource Partners and their financial as well as non-financial contributions toward the ministry fulfillment of our international Ministry Partners. Direct Reports will include Regional Managers, Manager of Marketing and Communication, Director Donor Relations and Information Systems and an Executive Assistant. The Vice President Advancement works directly with the President and other members of the Executive Leadership Team to accomplish the goals, objectives and strategic plans of the organization. Core Competencies include: Fundraising, Development, Marketing, Donor Retention/Acquisition, Communication, Project Management, Organization. Personal behavioral values must demonstrate dependence on God, a servant heart, and commitment to being a team player.

Job Requirements:
A Christian willing to subscribe to Partners International's Statement of Faith, and a belief in the mission/vision of Partners International.

A heart for enabling indigenous ministries in the least-Christian areas of the world.
A heart for developing partnership relationships with individuals, churches and organizations in such a way that serves them and maximizes them as a resource for indigenous ministries.
A Bachelors Degree and 5-10 years previous experience in organizational fund development management including such aspects of major donor strategies, marketing, branding, and donor relations.
Proven executive leadership abilities with a strong team-building emphasis
Ability to network and create relationships with development peers in other organizations
Must live in Spokane, WA and work out of the PI headquarters office.
Ability to travel – domestic and international

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Marketing, Communications or Organizational Development
Previous experience living and/or ministering cross-culturally
Ability to teach or lead workshops, seminars, mission vision trips, etc.
