Administrative Assistant to Vice President

Job Description:
Christian International Scholarship Foundation based in Lake Forest, Illinos is currently looking to fill the position for the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President, CISF.

Relationships: Reports to the Vice President

•To assist the Vice President in a variety of tasks related to the ministry of CISF including interaction with scholars, fundraising events, and other tasks as needed.
•This is a part-time (15-25 hours/week) position based in Lake Forest, IL

• General administrative support related to scheduling, calendar, and travel
• Maintain correspondence related to general inquiries via phone or email
• Upkeep of scholar and alumni lists and communication
• Generation of regular donor and development reports

Board Meeting Events:
• Generation of board meeting materials and notebooks
• Booking of rooms and food for semi-annual board meeting
• Organization of development events including locations, food, and other logistics

• Basic maintenance of the CISF website (no programming experience necessary)

Constant Contact:
• Edit and send donor emails

Program Administration:
• Receive and collate scholarship applications
• Oversee quarterly disbursements to scholars
• Collect and collate semi-annual scholar reviews
• Coordination of annual consultation
• Coordinate scholar travel for fund raising events

Other tasks as needed.

Required skills:
• Demonstrates a growing walk with Christ
• Competent in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Able to multi-task effectively
• Detail oriented
• Self-starter and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills and ability to write well in English
• Ability to develop efficient processes to streamline ministry tasks
• Ability to support staff members proactively and creatively
• Able to work well with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
• Competent in working independently and as a member of a team
• Experience in administrative support and event planning preferred
