Job Description:

Summary:

The Salem Web Network is looking for a proactive, self-starting graphic designer with experience in Web site interface design. Along with excellent design skills, our ideal candidate will have real-world experience creating fully realized Web sites from bare concepts or ideas. The selected candidate will be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess an overall drive to make most anything look or operate better than it currently does.

Required:

Proficiency with Adobe's Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash
A strong and varied portfolio of Web experience–everything from logos, to advertising pieces, to full sites
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
A college degree is preferred, but not required

Desired:

Experience with ActionScript
Knowledge of currently trends in Web usuability
