Joni and Friends has the following full time job opportunity: Director – Academic Studies

Location: Home Campus, Agoura Hills, CA

Qualifications:
A strong and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and an unwavering commitment to evangelism and the mission statement of Joni and Friends (JAF). The Director of Academic Studies is a key management position at the Christian Institute on disability (CID). The Director of Academic Studies will play a key role in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with Christian seminaries, universities and colleges in the U.S. and around the world. In addition, the Director will take the lead in expanding existing or developing new coursework on disability ministry from a biblical and theological framework .

Other qualifications include:
• A working knowledge of disability and related issues.
• successful public speaking experience.
• Positive interpersonal/networking skills.
• Effective writing skills are necessary.
• Advanced degree in theology, Ministry, Christian Academia required with Doctoral degree preferred.
• Must also be able to travel frequently.

Status: Fulltime, Exempt

Reports to: Manging Director, Christian Institute on Disability.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
