Job Description:

This key position is for a self-motivated, multi-tasking, computer-proficient individual who is equally comfortable with managing projects and communicating with people.

As the Traffic Manager, this individual is responsible for the internal scheduling of work throughout the agency. The Traffic Manager opens all jobs entering the agency and assigns a step-by-step schedule of completion to each of those jobs as it is entered. Under the direction of the Director of Production, the traffic manager coordinates movement of all jobs through all agency departments (account service, media, creative, production, etc.).

Each day the Traffic Manager prepares a status report of all active jobs in the shop, assigning a status to each job. This report is distributed to everyone in the agency. The Traffic Manager tracks and physically moves jobs from one step of completion to the next. As changes in timing or scheduling take place, the Traffic Manager is informed so an accurate schedule can be produced each day.

Additionally, as Receptionist, this individual will be responsible for communicating the agency brand by answering the phones and interfacing with clients and visitors appropriately. This individual will also provide general administrative support to the Production Manager and Account Managers, as needed.
